SkipperCard Charter & Crew (single or family) includes the medical helpline and travel health insurance. It suits everybody who charters Yachts around the world or sails as a crew member. Since most charter companies offer their own technical support, the SkipperCard C&C customers can go without the technical helpline.
SkipperCard Plus (single or family) includes the technical assistance helpline in addition to the medical helpline and travel health insurance. The technical assistance helpline provides professional help for yacht owners or skippers who find themselves having technical difficulties onboard. All informations and data about the yacht is collected in the „yachtvita“ database.
Please note: SkipperCard family includes 1 Partner and 2 children (under 21) whilst living in the same household.
The contract duration is 1 year and will be renewed automatically after that.
The methods of payment are credit card and SEPA direct debit mandate. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via telephone or e-mail!
After completing the registration, you can login to your account at www.skippercard.net and manage your data or monitor your payments. SkipperCard Plus customers also find the link to their yachtvita. (Please collect your data there to give us the possibility to provide the best service!)
Please note: For legal reasons registration is currently only possible for people who have their main residence in a member state of the European Union or Switzerland. The information about your residence serves as our contact adress to you and is relevant fort the validity of your travel health insurance. The travel health insurance is only valid in foreign countries.
